Clippers' Lou Williams '50-50' to return this season
In a recent video chat with fans, Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams stated that he is '50-50 right now' with regards to returning to play for the remainder of the 2020 season.
Williams has until Wednesday to inform the Clippers of his decision. Williams' uncertainty stems from his desire to not take the world's focus away from the recent ongoing protests sparked by George Floyd's death at the hands of the police.
Williams has averaged 18.7 points and 3.1 rebounds per game so far this season. If Williams does decide to sit the remainder of the season out, it could open up increased opportunities for Landry Shamet, Rodney McGruder and rookie Amir Coffey.
