After receiving final clearance to work out without restrictions earlier this month, Thompson has increased the intensity of his workouts and expects to be ready for next season's summer activities and training camp. “Oh yeah, 100 percent," said head coach Steve Kerr when asked about Thompson and his other players' potential participation in offseason activities. "I would not consider this voluntary workouts. Obviously, these are really unique circumstances. But given that we would be staring at a nine-month break, to be perfectly honest, I’d be shocked if any one of those three guys said to me, ‘No, I don’t want the work.’ They all know they need the work. We need the work. So they’ll be there.”

Look for Thompson to ultimately be ready for next season's tentative start in December. In his last healthy season in 2018-2019, the 31-year old averaged 21.5 points per game including a 40.2% three-point shooting percentage.
