Bondy: Kyrie Irving reportedly 'lobbied for skipping the bubble' in recent player chat
According to the New York Daily News and Stefan Bondy, Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving reportedly "proposed that the players can start their own league" in addition to lobbying to skip resuming the season in the bubble.
Irving remains opposed to the NBA's plan to resume in Florida's bubble but will have until June 24th to decide what to do. Expect Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris LeVert to ultimately see increased usage once the regular season starts again.
With Irving off the court, Dinwiddie is averaging 1.15 FanDuel points per minute with a usage rate of 31% (1689.1 minute sample size) while LeVert is averaging 1.12 FanDuel points per minute with a 30.9% usage rate (847.1 minute sample size).
