Atlanta Hawks forward/center Clint Capela said his heel is feeling "way, way better", according to The Athletic's Chris Kirschner.
Capela has yet to make his debut for the Hawks since arriving from Houston as part of a four-team deal in February. Capela stated that he feels like his heel has healed, but he doesn't know if he's 100% because he hasn't been able to do any 5-on-5 work. With the Hawks' excluded from the NBA's resumption in Orlando in July, Capela's focus remains on being fully recovered from the 2020-21 season.
In 39 games played for the Rockets this season, Capela averaged 13.9 points, 13.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 38.8 FanDuel points per game.
