Russell Westbrook sitting out front end of Rockets' back-to-back
Houston Rockets point guard Russell Westbrook (rest) will not play Saturday versus the Charlotte Hornets.
Westbrook will sit out the front end of the Rockets' back-to-back set and then return for Sunday's game against the Orlando Magic. Westbrook hasn't played in both sets of a back-to-back all season. Eric Gordon (right knee soreness) has also been ruled out, so look for Ben McLemore and Austin Rivers to keep busy on Saturday. James Harden will take on even more work offensively.
Westbrook is averaging 49.4 FanDuel points per game. numberFire's models project him for 23.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 9.2 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.5 3-pointers over the rest of the season.
