Deandre Ayton does non-contact work at Suns practice
Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton (left ankle) was limited to non-contact work at Thursday's practice.
Ayton doesn't have a timeline to return, but Kevin Zimmerman of 98.7 Arizona Sports says it sounds like a minor injury. Aron Baynes figures to gain the most while Ayton is sidelined. Ayton is considered doubtful for Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Ayton is second on the Suns with a 24.3 usage rate, leaving a void in the offense. He's averaging 41.1 FanDuel points per game.
