Jayson Tatum (illness) joins Celtics in Cleveland, probable Wednesday
Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (illness) is probable to play on Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Tatum was initially expected to miss a second straight game after not traveling with the team to Cleveland. Kemba Walker (knee, rest), Jaylen Brown (hamstring), and Gordon Hayward (knee) have all been ruled out Wednesday and Marcus Smart could be suspended, so Tatum figures to be busy. His return could limit the ceilings of the likes of Grant Williams, Javonte Green, Brad Wanamaker, and Carsen Edwards.
Tatum is averaging 53.0 FanDuel points in five games since the All-Star break. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Celtics-Cavaliers game has the second-lowest over/under (216.5 points) on Wednesday's nine-game slate.
