Pistons' Luke Kennard (knee) out another week
Detroit Pistons shooting guard Luke Kennard's (knee) potential return has been pushed back to next week, at the earliest, head coach Dwane Casey announced Tuesday.
There had been some hope that Kennard would be able to return on March 4. It's not clear if he suffered a setback or isn't progressing as quickly as hoped. Kennard hasn't played since December 21. Derrick Rose (ankle) is expected to miss multiple weeks and Bruce Brown (knee) has been sidelined, so the Pistons are running thin on backcourt bodies. Langston Galloway figures to be busy over the next week.
Kennard was averaging 26.5 FanDuel points per game before the injury.
