Hawks' Dewayne Dedmon (elbow) expected back Friday
Atlanta Hawks center Dewayne Dedmon (right elbow) is expected to be available for Friday's game versus the Washington Wizards, per general manager Travis Schlenk.
What It Means:
Schlenk said the Hawks "fully expect" Dedmon to return after sitting out the last four contests, adding that the veteran big man "got up shots" during Monday's practice. Dedmon underwent a non-surgical procedure last Thursday to address a lingering right elbow issue. Bruno Fernando scored just 2 points on 1-of-8 shooting as a starter on Monday, adding 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
