Kristaps Porzingis (knee, rest) sitting out Monday in second leg of Mavericks' back-to-back
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (knee, rest) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls.
The Mavericks also held Porzingis out of the second leg of their previous four back-to-back sets. He was excellent on Sunday, scoring 38 points with 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 5 blocks, and 6 3-pointers over 36.9 minutes. Luka Doncic (thumb) is probable after sitting out Sunday, so look for him to be busy on offense. Maxi Kleber could draw a start on Monday. Willie Cauley-Stein and Boban Marjanovic may also see more minutes.
Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Mavericks have an implied total of 114.75 points on Monday's seven-game slate.
