Lakers may be looking to trade Roy Hibbert, several veterans
The Los Angeles Lakers are exploring the trade market for Roy Hibbert, Lou Williams, Brandon Bass and Nick Young.
The Lakers are obviously going nowhere, so it makes sense to make some moves in order to open up some minutes for the younger players on the roster. Hibbert is on the last year of his deal but moving his $15.5 million contract will not be easy.
Hibbert is averaging 8.4 points, 2.8 boards, 1.2 assists and 1.2 blocks over his last five games and is well past his days as an elite center despite being just 29 years old. He is outside of the top 100 with a -3.0 nERD.
