DeMarcus Cousins to be waived by Lakers
Forward/center DeMarcus Cousins is set to be waived by the Los Angeles Lakers, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
This move makes room for the addition of Markieff Morris, who is expected to sign with the Lakers. Cousins' time as a Laker comes to a close, without having played a single game for the team. He will test the free agent market once again this offseason.
Through his 11 season, 565 game career, Cousins is averaging 21.2 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists, per game.
