Klay Thompson (knee) ruled out for remainder of 2019-20 season
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Klay Thompson will not play for the rest of the 2019-20 season, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
Of course, Thompson hasn't appeared at all this season either after tearing his ACL during the 2019 postseason. The Warriors are playing it safe, holding him out until training camp next fall. And even if were Thompson able to play, Golden State is in the mix for the No. 1 overall pick right now.
In 78 games last season, Thompson averaged 21.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
