Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns 'expected' to miss games
Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns (left wrist) is expected to "miss multiple games" after the All-Star break, writes Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.
Towns was playing through the injury before sitting out Wednesday's game. On a positive note, surgery isn't expected to be needed, per Krawczynski. James Johnson recorded 5 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 3 blocks, and 1 3-pointer as a fill-in starter on Wednesday. Naz Reid scored 12 points with 6 boards, 1 steal, and 1 block in extended minutes.
KAT is averaging 49.3 FanDuel points per game. numberFire's models project him for 26.9 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.9 blocks over the rest of the season.
