Jaylen Brown (ankle) sidelined for Celtics on Friday versus Hawks
Boston Celtics small forward Jaylen Brown (right ankle sprain) has been ruled out of Friday's game versus the Atlanta Hawks.
Brown may have tweaked his ankle during Wednesday's contest. He missed time last month for the same issue, so the Celtics are going to play it safe. Gordon Hayward (left foot soreness) has also been ruled out, likely opening a starting spot for Semi Ojeleye. Kemba Walker (knee) and Marcus Smart (quad) are both active, but Javonte Green, Romeo Langford, and Brad Wanamaker could see more minutes.
Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Celtics have the highest implied total on Friday's eight-game slate (121.5 points).
