Jordan Bell

Jordan Bell reportedly traded from Rockets to Grizzlies in second deadline deal

The Memphis Grizzlies acquired power forward Jordan Bell from the Houston Rockets, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

What It Means:

Bell could have had a decent role as a primary backup big for the Rockets, but he will have to compete with Brandon Clarke and Jaren Jackson Jr. for minutes behind Jonas Valanciunas in Memphis. The Grizzlies also acquired Gorgui Dieng at the deadline to provide frontcourt depth.

In the 23 games Bell has logged at least 20 minutes in his career, he averaged 6.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.4 blocks.
