76ers' JaKarr Sampson (illness) doesn't travel with team
Philadelphia 76ers small forward JaKarr Sampson (illness) did not travel to Detroit with the team for Wednesday's matchup with the Pistons.
We should see Nik Stauskas in the starting lineup while Hollis Thompson will likely play more. Isaiah Canaan (ankle) is questionable after spraining his ankle on Tuesday, so his absence would help the values of both Stauskas and Thompson.
Sampson ranks 121st with a -5.3 nERD this season, while Stauskas has earned a -7.1 nERD, ranking 128th. Our models project Stauskas to log 23.8 minutes tonight while putting up 7.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 3-pointers.
