Darius Garland getting breather for Cavaliers on Tuesday in second leg of back-to-back
Cleveland Cavaliers rookie point guard Darius Garland (rest) is sitting out Tuesday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Cavaliers are giving Garland a breather on the second leg of a back-to-back set. He's shooting just 27.1 percent over the last four games, so a day off may be needed. It will be the rookie's first missed game. Kevin Porter Jr., who is questionable with an ankle sprain, could enter the starting lineup if he's active. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM ET.
Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Cavaliers-Pelicans game features the third-highest over/under (232.5 points) on Tuesday's 10-game slate.
