Domantas Sabonis triple-doubles in Pacers' loss
Indiana Pacers power forward Domantas Sabonis scored 27 points (11-of-17 field goals, 5-of-6 free throws) with 14 rebounds, 11 assists, 1 block, and 3 turnovers in 41.1 minutes of a 139-129 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.
The Pacers were without Myles Turner (illness), as well as Malcolm Brogdon (concussion) and Victor Oladipo (knee), so Sabonis was asked to play a larger role than normal. He responded with the second triple-double of his career and a new season-high in assists. Seven of the Pacers' next eight games are at home, starting on Wednesday versus the Chicago Bulls.
Sabonis scored a season-best 60.3 FanDuel points on Sunday. numberFire's models project him for 19.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.3 blocks, and 0.6 triples per game over the rest of the season.
