Willie Cauley-Stein is set to be traded from the Golden State Warriors to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for a 2020 second-round pick, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Cauley-Stein is heading to Dallas, who just lost Dwight Powell for the season due to an achilles injury. The Mavericks will send a 2020 second-round pick the other way. As part of the deal, Dallas will waive center Justin Patton.
Cauley-Stein averaged 7.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 23.7 FanDuel points per game for the Warriors this season.
