Jamal Murray (ankle) out for Nuggets on Thursday, Monte Morris making first start of season
Denver Nuggets shooting guard Jamal Murray (left ankle) is being replaced in the starting lineup by Monte Morris on Thursday against the Golden State Warriors.
Murray exited in the second quarter of Wednesday's win over the Charlotte Hornets and never returned. X-rays came back negative, so hopefully Murray isn't facing an extended absence. Morris averaged 15.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.7 3-pointers in six starts last season.
Murray is averaging 32.1 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project Morris for 25.0 FanDuel points on Thursday, at a cost of $4,000.
