Steven Adams (elbow) will play Tuesday for the Thunder
Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams (elbow) will start Tuesday against the New York Knicks, sending Nick Collison back to the bench.
Adams' return to the starting five comes as a bit of a surprise after coach Billy Donovan implied on Monday the big man would be missing some action. The move will result in less playing time for Enes Kanter and Nick Collison. Feel free to get Adams active if you are seeking some production in shot blocking and rebounding.
Adams is sporting the 33rd-ranked nERD on the year at 4.9. He's averaging 7.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game through 44 contests this season. Our models project him to put up 7.4 points against the Knicks while snagging 6.4 rebounds and swatting away 1.4 blocks.
