Giannis Antetokounmpo (quad) ruled out for Bucks against Pelicans on Wednesday
Milwaukee Bucks small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (right quad tendon soreness) will not play on Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Bucks are heavy home favorites on Wednesday, so this may be more about maintenance than concern over an injury. Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe will take on more of the offensive load. Donte DiVincenzo is a candidate to replace Antetokounmpo in the starting lineup.
DiVincenzo is averaging 10.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.4 3-pointers as a starter (10 games).
