Detroit Pistons forward/center Blake Griffin (hamstring, knee) will not play on Tuesday versus the Miami Heat.
Griffin will sit out the second half of the Pistons' back-to-back after making his season debut on Monday. He scored 19 points (6-of-12 field goals, 6-of-8 free throws) with 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 3-pointer, and 4 turnovers in 24.0 minutes. The Pistons will likely ease Griffin back to full strength for the first handful of games. Look for him to get back out there on Friday against the Charlotte Hornets. Markieff Morris figures to draw the start on Tuesday.
numberFire's models project Griffin for 21.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.9 3-pointers per game over the rest of the season.
