Markelle Fultz will remain in starting lineup for Magic
Orlando Magic point guard Markelle Fultz will remain in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future, per head coach Steve Clifford.
Clifford says the switch helps the offense score more and provides "more balance" throughout the entire rotation. Fultz made his first start of the season on Saturday, flip-flopping with D.J. Augustin. He finished with 9 points (4-of-7 field goals, 1-of-1 free throws), 1 rebound, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 1 turnover in 24.9 minutes. Meanwhile, D.J. Augustin's playing time didn't take a hit and Aaron Gordon scored a season-high 21 points, so it seems to be an upgrade for all parties involved. The Magic will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday.
Fultz is averaging 18.2 FanDuel points through six games. numberFire's models project him for 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.9 triples per game over the rest of the season.
