Edmond Sumner ruled out for Pacers Wednesday with hand injury

Indiana Pacers point guard Edmond Sumner has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets due to a sore right hand.

What It Means:

Sumner injured his hand on Monday against the Detroit Pistons. He said the pain is preventing him from being able to dribble, so this could be a multi-game absence. Sumner was already headed for a reduced role, as Jeremy Lamb (hip) is returning to the starting lineup following a two-game absence.

numberFire's models project Sumner for 3.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game over the rest of the season.
