Mitchell Robinson (ankle) ruled out for Knicks' opener
New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (right ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's season opener against the San Antonio Spurs.
Robinson rolled his ankle at Monday's practice. He could be ready as early as Friday against the Brooklyn Nets for the second game of the season. Bobby Portis is in line for a start in Wednesday's opener. Taj Gibson (calf) is available and could see a boost.
