Isaiah Thomas (thumb) out on Wednesday for Wizards
Washington Wizards point guard Isaiah Thomas will not play on Wednesday in the team's game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Thomas, who figures to be the starting point guard for Washington this season until John Wall returns, is still nursing the left thumb injury that kept him out of the preseason. He's practiced in full lately, so there's hope he can get back on the court in short order.
Our models project Thomas for 10.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 21.0 minutes per game this season.
