Kristaps Porzingis (right foot) exits early, Knicks prevail in double-overtime
New York Knicks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis left Monday's 119-113 double-overtime victory over the Philadelphia 76ers after injuring his left foot.
He finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, one steal, three blocks and two 3-pointers before suffering an awkward landing around the rim, forcing sending him limping to the bench after a couple plays. Porzingis did not go to the locker room, but he slammed his hand in frustration on the team bench. The Latvian sensation is likely going to be re-evaluated and hopefully he's only day-to-day. If he misses time, Lance Thomas, Kyle O'Quinn, Lou Amundson and Robin Lopez will all receive modest bumps in value depending on the matchup.
Porzingis is now averaging 14.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks through 43 contests this season. He entered Monday with the sixth-highest Block Percentage in the league and his 1.0 nERD ranks 68th.
