Brandon Bass (ankle) doubtful Sunday for Lakers
Los Angeles Lakers center Brandon Bass (ankle) is doubtful to play Sunday vs. the Houston Rockets.
Bass has spent the past two games on the sidelines with the ankle injury, and it looks like that number will hit three on Sunday. Tarik Black will continue to soak up Bass' reserve minutes if he's again sidelined today, but Black's averages of just 4.2 points and 4.6 boards per game on the year display his complete lack of fantasy value.
Bass has been excellent off the bench for the Lakers this season, with a 2.7 nERD that ranks 57th in the NBA. Though his 17.4 minutes per game are his lowest since the 2009-2010 season, he's posting a career-high .572 Effective Field Goal percentage.
