Terrence Jones

Rockets' Terrence Jones starting for Dwight Howard

Houston Rockets forward Terrence Jones will start in place of Dwight Howard (back) on Thursday against the Utah Jazz.

What It Means:

Technically speaking, Clint Capela is starting for Dwight at center and Jones will slide into the power forward role. Jones' playing time has taken a big hit lately as he recorded just 15 minutes in his last outing. We'll also see a lot of small ball and Montrezl Harrell tonight. Jones should be busy though, despite the reduced action lately.

Jones is inside the top 100 with a -1.5 nERD on the season. In 10 games as the starter, he is averaging 27.6 minutes and putting up 11.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists on 44.0 percent shooting from the field.
