The New York Knicks have signed free agent forward Bobby Portis to a two-year, $31M deal per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Portis joins a crowded Knicks frontcourt after the signing of Taj Gibson and Julius Randle. He is likely to serve a backup role with Randle starting alongside Mitchell Robinson upfront.
Portis averaged 14.2 points and 8.1 rebounds last season with the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards.
