The Houston Rockets and guard Austin Rivers have agreed on a two-year deal, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The deal includes a player option for the second year, allowing Rivers to reassess his future next summer. The guard will resume a backup role to both Chris Paul and James Harden for Houston.
Rivers averaged 8.7 points and 2.3 assists in 28.6 minutes per game for the Rockets last season.
