Tayshaun Prince

Tayshaun Prince will start Wednesday for Timberwolves

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Tayshaun Prince will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

What It Means:

This was the expectation based on previous reports. He will join Ricky Rubio, Andrew Wiggins, Gorgui Dieng and Karl-Anthony Towns in the starting five for the Timberwolves. With Kevin Martin (wrist) sidelined, we still expect Zach LaVine to be the biggest beneficiary, despite remaining on the bench.

Prince is averaging 19.3 minutes this season and has earned a -4.9 nERD, which ranks 124th. He hasn't cracked double-digits once this season and is easily having the worst statistical season of his career. Our metrics project LaVine to score 14.3 points in 30.3 minutes, in addition to 3.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 0.8 steals with 1.3 makes from downtown.
