Tayshaun Prince may enter the Timberwolves' starting lineup
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Tayshaun Prince may enter the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the New York Knicks, according to sources of Darren Wolfson.
Minnesota coach Sam Mitchell said he wanted to make some lineup adjustments for tonight's matchup with the Knicks, but inserting a 35-year-old Prince into the starting lineup of a young, developing 9-15 squad is certainly a strange move. It's unclear who would be sent to the bench, but the likely candidates are Kevin Martin or Kevin Garnett.
Prince is averaging 19.3 minutes this season and has earned a -4.9 nERD, which ranks 124th. He hasn't cracked double-digits once this season and is easily having the worst statistical season of his career.
