Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward (ankle) will not play Tuesday versus the Washington Wizards.
With the Celtics' locked into the four seed, there is no reason to play Hayward in the season finale. He joins Al Horford, Kyrie Irving, Aron Baynes, Marcus Smart, Marcus Morris, and Jayson Tatum sitting out Tuesday versus the Wiz. Semi Ojeleye and Jaylen Brown will see the bulk of the minutes on the wing.
Hayward has averaged 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 23.9 FanDuel points per game this season.
