Pascal Siakam sizzles for 31 points, Raptors crush Knicks
Toronto Raptors power forward Pascal Siakam scored a game-high 31 points (11-of-19 field goals, 7-of-8 free throws) with 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, and 2 3-pointers in 30.8 minutes of a 117-92 demolition of the New York Knicks on Thursday.
Siakam stepped up in place of Kawhi Leonard (rest) and everyone else got out of the way, as no other Raptor finished with more than 15 points. In the last 10 games without Kawhi, Siakam has averaged 22.9 points, 8.3 boards, and 3.6 dimes on a 54.3 field goal percentage and 39.5 3-point percentage. He continues to make a strong case for Most Improved Player. The Raptors play the Bulls in Chicago on Friday.
