New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jrue Holiday underwent successful surgery Tuesday morning to repair a core muscle injury.
Holiday will not return for the Pelicans this season. He's been sidelined since March 7, so this isn't a surprise. Turning 29 this summer, Holiday will be fine for the start of training camp in September. He recorded career-bests in points (21.2), boards (5.0), and treys (1.8) this season.
Holiday averaged 21.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.8 blocks, 1.8 triples, and 43.0 FanDuel points over 67 games for New Orleans.
