Report: Jimmer Fredette signs with Suns
Jimmer Fredette signed with the Phoenix Suns on a 2-year deal that includes a team option for next season, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Fredette is still awaiting clearance from China, so he will not be making his NBA return on Thursday versus the Detroit Pistons, but the process could be completed in time for Saturday's matchup with the Sacramento Kings. Fredette has been out of the league since making six appearances in 2015-16.
Fredette averaged 36.0 points in the CBA this season. He managed just 6.0 points on a 41.2 field goal percentage in 235 career NBA appearances.
