Robert Covington (knee) not expected to return for Timberwolves this season
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Robert Covington (knee) is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season.
Covington, sidelined since December 31, was trending toward returning for the final few weeks of the season, but it appears a recent setback at practice will prevent that from happening. Josh Okogie should continue to start over the remainder of the year. In 22 games for Minnesota, Covington averaged 14.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.3 steals, 1.1 blocks, and 2.5 triples per contest.
RoCo averaged 30.8 FanDuel points over 35 games for the Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers before the injury, with 13.3 points, 5.5 boards, 1.3 dimes, 2.1 steals, 1.3 swats, and 2.4 treys per contest.
