Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid scored 37 points (8-of-17 field goals, 20-of-21 free throws) with a career-high 22 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 3-pointer, and 3 turnovers in 41.2 minutes of a 118-115 victory over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
Embiid was fully charged after sitting out the front end of this back-to-back set and he logged over 40 minutes for the first time since February 5. It was his third game with 20-plus boards this season and second straight with at least 37 points. The 76ers are off until a Saturday road tilt with the Atlanta Hawks.
Embiid scored 72.4 FanDuel points in the victory, his fourth-highest output of the season and second straight 70.0-point outing. He's averaging 53.5 FanDuel points per game overall.
