New York Knicks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. (sore lower back) will not play on Wednesday versus the Utah Jazz.
It will be Smith's fourth straight absence. Emmanuel Mudiay has turned in point totals of 14, 28, and 7 as a starter. Allonzo Trier stepped up Monday, with 22 points (8-of-14 field goals, 5-of-6 free throws) over 31.2 minutes.
