Justise Winslow (thigh) ruled out for Heat Sunday afternoon versus Hornets

Miami Heat forward Justise Winslow (right thigh bruise) will not play on Sunday versus the Charlotte Hornets.

What It Means:

Winslow picked up the injury on Friday. He managed to return at the end of the third quarter, but head coach Erik Spoelstra has decided to hold Winslow out in the front end of a back-to-back set for Miami. Goran Dragic, Dion Waiters, and Rodney McGruder all stand to benefit with Winslow sidelined. Dwyane Wade (hip) has been downgraded to doubtful. The Heat open a four-game road trip on Monday.

Winslow is averaging 27.6 FanDuel points through 61 games (48 starts) this season, with 12.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.5 triples per contest.
