Bobby Portis will make another start Wednesday for Wizards
Washington Wizards forward/center Bobby Portis will start again on Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets, head coach Scott Brooks said.
Portis entered the Wizards' lineup for the first time on Saturday and finished with 7 points (3-of-7 field goals, 1-of-2 3-pointers), 4 rebounds, and 2 assists over 16.9 minutes. Thomas Bryant, who Portis replaced in the first unit, ripped off 23 points and 12 rebounds. Portis, however, has been the better player recently over a larger sample size, so Brooks will give him another shot on Wednesday in Brooklyn.
Portis is averaging 31.3 FanDuel points through six games with the Wizards. numberFire's models expect him to record 17.5 points, 7.8 boards, 1.9 dimes, 0.8 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 0.7 triples per contest over the remainder of the season.
