Karl-Anthony Towns (concussion) ruled out by Minnesota for Friday
Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns (concussion) will not play Friday versus the New York Knicks.
Towns was involved in a car accident on Thursday and has entered the league's concussion protocol. With the big man unavailable, Andrew Wiggins sees a bump in scoring responsibility and usage while Taj Gibson will see extra minutes and possibly a start against the Knicks.
Towns has averaged 23.1 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 47.7 FanDuel points per game this season.
