Jonas Valanciunas (personal) will not play for Grizzlies on Friday
Memphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas (personal) will not be with the team for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Valanciunas went to Lithuania over the All-Star break for personal reasons, but there's hope he will rejoin the team for Saturday's game in Cleveland against the Cavaliers. The big man averaged 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 0.5 blocks in his first two games with the Grizzlies. Ivan Rabb, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Joakim Noah should all see more minutes with Val unavailable.
JV is averaging 25.5 FanDuel points in 32 games (10 starts) overall this season. Moving forward, numberFire's models expect him to record 17.7 points, 8.9 boards, 1.4 dimes, 0.5 steals, and 1.8 swats per contest.
