Kawhi Leonard to start for Raptors versus Spurs
Toronto Raptors guard/forward Kawhi Leonard will start on Friday versus the San Antonio Spurs, head coach Nick Nurse said.
Leonard sat out the final game before the break with what was listed as a knee injury, but there was never any doubt about his status for the first game after the break. He will be joined by Kyle Lowry, Danny Green, Pascal Siakam, and either Serge Ibaka or Marc Gasol in the first unit. Norman Powell will return to a role off the Raptors' bench.
Kawhi is averaging 45.9 FanDuel points in 43 games this season. Moving forward, numberFire's models expect him to record 29.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.8 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 2.0 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
