Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Dario Saric will remain in the starting lineup "for the time being," head coach Ryan Saunders said.
Saric replaced Taj Gibson in the starting lineup on Monday for the first time and flourished, scoring 19 points (7-of-11 field goals, 1-of-1 free throws) with 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 4 3-pointers, and 1 turnover over 33.5 minutes. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him remain in the first unit for the rest of the season.
Saric is averaging 20.0 FanDuel points through 42 games. numberFire's models expect him to record 11.6 points, 5.2 boards, and 1.1 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
