Frank Ntilikina (groin) reportedly expected to sit for Knicks through All-Star break
New York Knicks point guard Frank Ntilikina (groin strain) is expected to remain sidelined until after the All-Star break, reports Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News.
Ntilikina hasn't played since January 27, a span of five games. Dennis Smith Jr. and Damyean Dotson will likely command most of the playing time in the Knicks' backcourt following the team's release of Wesley Matthews. Emmanuel Mudiay (shoulder) doesn't have a timeline for a return.
Ntilikina is averaging 14.5 FanDuel points through 41 games (16 starts) this season, with 5.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.8 triples per contest.
