The Brooklyn Nets are acquiring forward/center Greg Monroe and a second-round pick from the Toronto Raptors, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Monroe became expendable after the Raptors acquired Marc Gasol, and the Nets apparently don't have much use for him either, as the big man is reportedly expected to be waived. Monroe turns 29 this summer.
Monroe played 11.1 minutes and averaged 11.2 FanDuel points in 38 games (two starts) for the Raptors this season.
